Tangoette is the likely leader at a keen tempo. SIMPLY SASSY (10) looks well placed second up. She charged home fresh over 1000m at Ballarat to grab second, beaten a nose. That trip was always going to be on the sharp side - going to 1100m now looks perfect and she draws for every hope. LAPLAND (6) has been below his best at his past couple but is lightly raced having shown good ability prior. He could bounce back quickly. TANGOETTE (11) ran well fresh at Ballarat in the same race as Simply Sassy, close up behind that horse. She lands on speed from the good gate here and takes catching. SOMEBODY TOLD ME (5) did enough fresh in the same race and is open to plenty of improvement at just his fourth start. MARTY MCFLY (2) is going okay and has each-way claims.
