A solid tempo on the cards with Smackeroony heading them off. CRYPT DE PIN (5) scored an impressive win by 4.5 lengths this grade when resuming from a spell over 1100m at Gatton. She's much improved and fitter can be winning again with average luck in the run. VEGA NOVA (4) has been within range in stronger grade. Maps well and a senior hoop goes on. Has the number to be fighting out the finish. SMACKEROONY (3) led and found a couple better over 1000m at this track, beaten only 1.4 lengths. This is tougher but he's sure to give a sight. PACIFIC PIRATE (8) does a few things wrong but has some gear chances in an effort to rectify. Presents third-up and he's be a hope if he found his best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Crypt De Pin to win.
