A solid tempo on the cards with Lazulite Sana heading them off. DERMA SATURN (5) went to the paddock after scoring at his last appearance three-and-a-half months ago over 1400m at Sonoda. Should be hard to stop. SHIBANOSUTOMUKITTO (8) resumes today after filling a minor placing at his last appearance at Sonoda over 1400m on October 29. One of the genuine hopes in the race. SHIMPU KOEDO (6) made considerable ground in the run home to finish second last start over 1400m at this track. Another bold showing is expected. STEINER (9) finished fifth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1400m at this track, beaten 2 lengths. Finds a nice race and can keep improving.
