Expecting Jason Darren to take up the running with Piccaderro and Arabian Melody close at hand. PICCADERRO (4) has returned in good order this preparation. He was a barnstorming winner fresh to get off the mark, then ran well but found one better last time on the Beaumont. Is drawn sticky but is expected to be very competitive again. JASON DARREN (2) was good when resuming, though just lacked a turn of foot late. Is sure to have come on from that and is drawn to get all the favours. Have to take seriously. ANNOINT (6) was poised to strike when resuming at Queanbeyan and kept coming, only to just miss. Fitter but is drawn sticky. Keep in mind. KING SOLEIL (7) hasn't done much wrong in his three runs back and carries a fitness edge over his main rivals. Doesn't have to improve much to get the verdict. SUGGESTED PLAY: Piccaderro gets the nod.
