Shangri La Impact is the probable leader in the small field. SHANGRI LA IMPACT (4) talented mare who resumes for the O'Shea & Charlton yard. Faded quickly from the wide gate when seventeenth over 2200m in the G1 Qld Oaks at Eagle Farm last June. Was a total forgive on that occasion and gets her chance with the two searching trials. Adept in all conditions and the lugging bit goes on. Go close. MAH ALI (9) is capable on her day and deserves a victory. Not that far away from the low draw with a decent fifth over 1500m at this track. Sticky map but stays in the mix. SMART CRY (5) bounced off her good first-up fifth at Beaumont (Newcastle), with a gritty nose victory over 1350m at that course. Looks to have further upside and gives the impression she will get the trip. EXCEED PERFECTION (7) comes out of a decent contest after finishing an improved second over 1500m at this track. Placed in the going and sure to be thereabouts. SUGGESTED PLAY: Shangri La Impact can return to winning form.
