MICHAEL MAXIMUS (3) pushed forward and went on to record a determined win when resuming last start by half a length over 1500m at this track. Drawn to go forward again. Taking on a better field but he is up to the task. AURORA ARK (1) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a spell on October 18, finishing 14th and beaten 14 lengths over 1200m at Niigata Dirt. One of the genuine hopes in the race. HOKKO SOMNIUM (10) finished second behind Michael Maximus at this track over this distance at his latest outing. Has a very good record here including eight wins from 13 starts.
