Tango On is the probable leader in the small field. VANTANTE (7) progressive filly rewarded for her consistency with a dominant Maiden victory over 1200m at Wagga. Comes back in trip with the 3kg claim and will prove hard to catch again in the going. RIDE THE RIVER (1) kept finding first-up in a high rating contest with a narrow second over this track and trip. Has the speed to get across from the tricky gate and the nose roll goes on. Respect. TIDES TURNING (5) lone victory came on the heavy track and strips fitter for this. Strong through the line with a respectable second over 10450m at Grafton. Looks up to this with the claim. SONG FOR ROSIE (6) drifted back from the inside gate and failed to come on when eighth over 1000m at Tamworth in BM66 grade. Improver in the small field. SUGGESTED PLAY: Vantante will take catching.
