Promising type with improvement to come so he will be hard to beat. BEST LUIRE (6) ran below expectations when fresh from a spell at this track over 1400m last time, finishing fifth and beaten 4.5 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. TERUKEN YUMIMIZUKI (3) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1400m at this track. Nicely placed to take this out. NICE KICK (9) resumes from a spell of four months. Could only manage to finish fifth at the latest run over 1100m at Monbetsu. Solid top-three hope.
