Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Aio Komete. SHONAN TAHTI (1) ran a strong race last time out over 1600m at this track, finishing second and beaten one length. Yet to miss the placings in two starts over this course and distance. Nicely placed to take this out. AIO KOMETE (5) returns from a layoff of four months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1600m at this track. Rates highly and could take some beating. NAC JASPER (7) showed good pace and went on to score by one length last time out over 1600m at this track. Looks well placed so expect another big run. LAST EIGHT CLUB (4) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1600m here. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
