LONG BEACH (4) was prominent on straightening last time out but was claimed late and finished sixth over 1000m at this track. Drawn to enjoy a good run on the speed. Sure to be in the finish. METUS (5) has missed the frame at his last couple of outings, the latest when a disappointing eighth over 1000m at Sapporo Dirt. Well-placed in this easier assignment and he is among the leading players. QUITE POSSIBLE (8) made progress last time out, finishing third over 1000m at this track. Best figures measure up.
