DEEP WATER BAY HANDICAP 1650m Track: GOOD
Strong tempo from the outset with Telecom Fighters, Yellowfin and Flaming Rabbit leading the charge. Good race to end the night. HELENE FEELING (2) was given a quiet trial recently, but gets Purton in the saddle and the blinkers on again today. He can press on from the wide draw and be up front in the run. Drops in weight from his latest effort and can build on his solid fresh record. CHILL CHIBI (8) trialled well coming into this and is a fresh winner in the past. The blinkers go on first time today and he mightn't be as far back from an inside alley. He may need some luck, but if the breaks come he's good enough to be in the finish. YELLOWFIN (7) is likely to roll forward an race on the speed for Hewitson. He's good fresh and if he gets it all his own way up front, he'll be very hard to run down. RED HARE KING (11) was very good at a lower level at the end of last campaign and ticks plenty of boxes with no weight on his back.
