A solid tempo on the cards with Astrogazer leading the way. ASTROGAZER (5) lightly raced Divine Prophet colt with plenty of upside. Got off the mark at start two when a solid on-pace winner over 1400m at Wagga on August 26. Gets control again from the good draw and placed here at his first start. CAPITAL HEART (1) frustrating gelding now in the Matt Dale yard. Failed to finish off when eighth over 1400m at Newcastle in BM64 class on August 28. Will relish the 3kg claim in this easier contest. Best form can see him take this out. TRIANON (6) lone win came at this track and like the way he attacked the line late when fourth over 1310m here on August 30. Well drawn and can get into a stalking position. BURROWA (2) bumped into some handy types of late and overcooked it up front when a tiring tenth over 1400m at Kembla Grange on August 31. Beautifully placed with the claim and gets the tongue-tie on for the first time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 5,1,6,2.
