Strong early tempo with Elegant Jewelry and Kurino Falcon leading the way. KURINO FALCON (8) was an impressive winner last time over 1200m at Funabashi, adding to an impressive series of results this time in work. Looks very tough to beat again. ELEGANT JEWELRY (4) strode forward early last start from her wide draw and was never headed, scoring by a neck at this track over 1500m. Sound record at this distance with two wins and six minor placings from 11 runs and is right in this. BRIGHT GASSAN (9) finished third two runs back at Funabashi then improved last time out to score by 2 lengths over 1400m at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot score again. PANDEIRO (6) was prominent on straightening last time but faded late when fourth over 1400m at this track. Should be poised just off the lead. One of the better hopes.
