Strong early tempo from Derma Oshidashi spearing over from an outside gate, with Granite also pushing up. MAR D'IRLANDA (13) is a genuine four-year-old entire who resumed with a solid second last time out at Tokyo over 1600m. Goes very well second-up so a win will not surprise. DAISHIN YAMATO (11) was a most impressive winner last time over 1600m at this track, scoring by 4 lengths. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and two minor placings from four outings. Bold showing expected. HO O PREMIER (7) returns from a spell. Finished sixth at this track and distance at his only appearance last prep 12 weeks ago. Should be poised just off the lead. One of the main contenders. ENDEMISM (5) is a progressive galloper who is first-up since finishing fifth over 1600m at Hanshin three-and-a-half months ago. Has never missed the frame when fresh from a spell in three starts. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Deserves respect on best figures.
