The pace looks even at best without a noted on-pacer engaged. A BETTER TOMORROW (3) was a long time maiden who got off the mark last time. Drew wide on the turf over a mile so pushed forward and led throughout for a comfortable win. Back to the all weather now but winning rider sticks and has finally found form. Worth following up. JUNGLE CRUISE (2) is racing well. Placed two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by a neck over 1600m at Kranji Turf. Tricky gate but expecting another big run. PACIFIC SPIRIT (9) got home by just 0.8 lengths at his latest appearance over 1600m at this track. Down in the weights and likely to run well again. THE SHADOW (6) continues to race well with a win three back followed by two minors, the latest effort a solid third at this track over 1700m. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. SUGGESTED PLAY: A Better Tomorrow could be value.
