Solid tempo likely with Mangione and Sandblast matching motors. Waek and tough. EL CAMPEON (5) was plain at Ararat but the form around that is strong for this contest. Has to drop back 600m but he finds a suitable race and look for him to finish hard. BATAHI (7) steps up to this journey for the first time and prepared to forgive his last two flops. Missed a whisker at Wangaratta prior at the mile and benefits from a 2kg claim. SECRET WAY (6) found more like his best beaten 3.2L at Benalla. The veteran will race forward and get every chance to run out the extra metres, LET'S GET FESTIVE (9) gest the blinkers again following a 2.7L defeat at Berrigan. Won her only dry at this distance and also deserves consideration. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to El Campeon.
