Diomedes to take charge ahead of Powerofpersuasion at a good tempo. WAR OF SUCCESSION (1) failed to fire at Pukekohe over a mile last start after getting back too far from a wide draw. He cops another tough gate, but may be able to slot in a lot closer this time. He has won his only start on this course over the trip, and he is expected to bounce straight back into the money. LOCH KATRINE (12) steps up to a middle distance for the first time, and she can figure in the top 3. SIXTH GENERATION (9) won here last start, so stick with him over more ground here. DIOMEDES (2) has winning form on the course and is usually thereabouts. Each way. POWEROFPERSUASION (13) cops a wide gate, but will get the wet track that she prefers. Don't take her lightly. Include in all combinations. SUGGESTED PLAY: Lock Katrine for each way value.
