Plenty of pace from the outset with Prince Epaulette and Coventry Reef leading the charge. PRODUCTIVE (5) presents at peak and the lightly-raced galloper deserved his Maiden win at Northam. He has plenty of scope for improvement and the extra metres will suit. The in-form CJP stays aboard and expect a bold showing. PHAROAH SHOW (3) found a place in a CL1 at Belmont second-up. He wasn't beaten too far in Stakes grade last preparation and has more to give over this distance. Has the inside gate and the 2kg claim is handy. ONE PUNCH (1) has won two of his last three both at this track and has a handy 3kg claim today. Maps for the run of the race and he will be right in it. WAR MATTERS (6) resumes and has a recent trial under the saddle. Usually needs one, but he has good ability and draws low. The late betting will be key. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Productive.
