Genuine tempo with Smile Mont Blanc and Jackson Roots up front. SMILE MONT BLANC (7) battled on well to hold third last start over this track and trip, beaten a head when resuming as favourite. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. COSMO BLAZE (4) produced a reasonable effort when third last start after being prominent at the corner, beaten 0.7 lengths. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and four minor placings. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. JACKSON ROOTS (10) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring dominantly here. Has the speed to overcome a wide draw. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within his grasp. LINGUS WARRIOR (1) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish second, beaten a head here. Can feature in the finish.
