ARDEST (5) showed good early muster and fought on well to finish second when resuming last start over 1200m at this track. Well placed and could prove hard to beat. SHADOW CROSS (3) missed the frame last start over 1200m at this track when tenth. Finds a nice race and can play a significant role. DAIHASSHU (1) is a 10-start maiden who finished a disappointing 11th at his most recent outing over 1700m at this track. Back in trip and among the chances in what looks a nice race for him. LORD BARCELONA (6) finished eighth at his last appearance over 1000m at Sapporo Dirt on August 16 after he got a long way back in the run. Likely to be thereabouts in this easier assignment.
