Genuine pace with Riko Luger finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. KITASAN DOSHIN (2) narrowly missed last time when second last start at Funabashi but starting to prove costly. Rates well on recent form and can break through this time. RIKO LUGER (9) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second when resuming last time out here. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot salute. PALERMO (6) scored here at his most recent appearance on June 12. Has found the right race and is worth including. ESKEN DREAM (3) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 2000m at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
