Good early pressure anticipated with a large contingent of unraced runners. SASSY FOR SURE (11) impressed narrowly beaten on a dry track at Caulfield-Heath on debut and then didn't have the best of it at Sandown-Hillside first-up, when expected to need it anyway. This suits, and she jumps from the inside barrier. Sharp improvement is anticipated. ST EDWARD (8) debuts and is also in good hands. He won a recent jumpout at Cranbourne and maps for the run-of-the-race. CASUAL GHAI (1) resumes gelded and looked on song winning a jumpout here. The local has shown enough to make the finish. SULEK (9) debuts and has two metro jumpout wins under the saddle. Looks promising, and a bold run is likely. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Sassy For Sure.
