Small field but expecting a genuine tempo with plenty of pace engaged. HIPPOCRATES (4) has been holding his form. He set the pace here over this trip last time out and fought on bravely to finish fourth. He has a good record here and is likely to race on the speed from his good draw. He can take them all the way this time. PURPLE POWAHOUSE (1) moved up like a winner last time before getting outrun late when finishing. A recent spell would have done him the world of good and he should make his presence felt. TEEREX (6) finished eighth in the same race behind the top pick last start. He is 3.5kg better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result. KNIGHT WARRIOR (2) is better than his last start as the jockey reported something to be amiss during the running. He is much better than that and can bounce back into the money immediately.
