Fast tempo assured with Mississippi Spice, Flying Reign Storm and Takatalvi going at each other early in the piece. TWILIGHT BAY (5) has fair form lines to her credit. She set the pace over 1600m on the turf last time and fought on strongly to finish fifth. That form has since been franked and she gets the blinkers fitted for the first time which should keep her mind on the task at hand. She has scope and can take this out. MISS MAYFLY (4) showed good improvement over 1200m on this course last time out. She will love the extra furlong on offer and if confirming her recent improvement, she should have a say in the finish. YELLOW JACKET (6) set the pace over 1700m last time before getting caught late and finishing second. She is suited to this distance and may be hard to peg back. TAKATALVI (3) is better than her last start here over this trip. She was better at her start prior when third at Scottsville. She is worth another chance.
