The pace looks very strong with plenty of pressure on from the word go. FLYING HAFLA (3) ran a good race when fourth over 1600m on this course last time. It must be noted that the form has since been franked. She should love the rise to 1800m and from a good draw she is the one to beat. ART NOUVEAU (2) has improved in her last two starts, the latest of which was over 1700m on the poly track here. She is a progressive type and is the main threat to the top pick. HURRICANE FLIGHT (5) ran a fair race over 2000m on this course last time. Her best career effort came under Rachel Venniker. She is nicely poised to earn another cheque. JOAN THE WAD (4) needed her last start over 1400m on the poly track here. She would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. She is capable of a top 3 finish here.
