Pod Glass has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. DIAMANT COEUR (8) ran below expectations last time at Urawa, finishing tenth starting at $4.30. Look for an improved run here. DESERT MOON (9) went forward from the low draw last start and sat on the pace before sticking on well to finish second over 1200m at this track. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race. IDEALIST (4) is resuming from a spell of six months and having his first run for the Masakazu Kawashima yard. Was in the placings when first-up from a spell last campaign at Kawasaki over 1400m. Has found the right race and is worth including fresh. OVAL BOUQUET (3) did a good job last start but found a couple better over 1200m at this track, beaten only 0.9 lengths. Looks sure to play a big role.
