Too Casual to take charge ahead of Bullish Dragon at a strong tempo. HALLE BEE (7) returned from a 31-week spell last start and did well to hold on for a close fourth in heavy going over 1200m at Tamworth. Far better placed over this trip and the firmer ground helps. Won't get too many better chances to break through. HARSH MISTRESS (9) switched stables after a poor debut in Victoria and made a much better fist of things at Armidale last Saturday, beaten narrowly after coming from midfield in the 1100m maiden. Down in the weights, perfectly drawn, and suited by the extra trip so her credentials are hard to fault. VOLCANIC GOLD (5) got back and was never a factor at his latest run over 1300m at Coonamble. Races well here and strips fitter so worth another chance. MOON TREATY (4) made a long, sustained run to get up for third over this distance at Armidale recently. Good each-way hope with a similar effort today. TOO CASUAL (8) is an honest mare with claims on a six-day back-up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Halle Bee and taking the 7-9 quinella.
