Abundant early pace from the speedy trio of Future Saint, Move To Prove and Giambattista. DOUBLE OLYMPIC (4) ran a creditable race in his first run for the Yogas Govender stable. He lost a length leaving the start but the manner in which he stayed on at the finish was encouraging. He would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. If suited to the polytrack, he may find himself in the winner's enclosure. VOLDEMORT (10) has consistent form lines to his credit. He has won twice, finished second once and third once from ten starts over this course and distance. He drops in class and with luck in the running, he should be competitive. BENNI IN THE AREA (6) set the pace over this course and distance last time and kept finding to hold all challengers at bay. He is likely to adopt the same tactics and may be hard to peg back. GIAMBATTISTA (3) fought hard for his last victory over 1600m on this course. He returns from a spell and makes plenty of appeal.
