SPIRIT'S UNITE (5) ran a nice race last time out over 1400m at this track, finishing third of 10 when sent out as the favourite. He has drawn a handy gate and should be fighting out the finish. Can atone. LIKETHECLAPPERS (12) set the pace over this course and distance last time out but found one too good on the day. It's worth noting that the winner of that last race has since come out and scored again. He has finished second in three of his last five starts and should go close to taking this race out. GOLD INDEX (6) ran a solid race last time out when finishing a close-up fourth of 10 over 1400m at this track. Well worth an each-way ticket. BANK STREET (13) in just his third start won by a nose over 1200m at this track last time out. He has a wide gate to overcome but racing over a longer trip should be finishing in the money.
