Strong early tempo with Arabesque Penchee and Fade Hard to lead the way over Rhein Stryker and Foggara. RHEIN STRYKER (6) sat just off the speed and fought on well to finish second when resuming last start at this course and distance. Should park just off the speed and could prove tough to beat. FOGGARA (9) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second last time out over 1500m at Funabashi. Steps up a level but she is capable of running a bold race. YAGIRI EPIPHA KUN (10) couldn't have been more impressive first up last start when he scored by 4 lengths over 1500m at this track. Open to plenty of improvement and is expected to feature in the finish. RASE GRISE (11) ran a better race last start, finishing sixth over 1400m at this track. No surprise to see him in contention here.
