Small field in which Hildebrand can find the front comfortably at a moderate tempo. LA LA TERROIR (1) is back from a spell of seven months. Closed last campaign with a minor placing over 1700m at Sapporo Dirt. Now under the care of new trainer Seijiro Ikari. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. HILDEBRAND (2) finished 2 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 1400m at Himeji, an improvement on his fifth the run before. Nicely placed to get the prize. RA (4) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out, finishing third and beaten 1.75 lengths. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. HOSHO MANI (6) comes here off a break of four-and-a-half months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep. Makes plenty of appeal.
