Moderate tempo with Steele My Sunshine leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. Very good race with some promising types. MAGNAPRIME (1) turned in an eye-catching fresh-up run when hitting the line hard for a narrow loss. That was off a long break and will be far better for it. Goes well here and extra trip a plus. SNOW EAGLE (7) resumed over this journey and finished midfield at Lonny but returns to Hobart where she is unbeaten from two tries at the course and distance. Expecting a much better run. STEELE MY SUNSHINE (8) was a mile winner here two back then just missed over 1300m here last time. Well weighted with the claim and will take catching. GEMS EAGLE (6) was disappointing fresh despite facing the breeze throughout. Much better than that and has since gone back to the trials and won by 14 lengths. Back on track and worth following up. JOHNNIE PINCH (3) has been fourth at both runs this time in but is a third-up winner and will be getting to peak for this. SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up on Magnaprime.
