Genuine tempo with the speedy Dazzlin leading the way. TSUKUBA MARIA (3) is back at the races for the first time since November 24. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1500m at this track. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. GINZADE NOMU OTOKO (5) used the low draw last time and bounced straight to the lead, turning in front before fading to finish fourth over 1200m at Funabashi. Expected to go close. TRINITARIANISM (2) has switched yards since finishing 12th three weeks ago over 1500m at Funabashi. Comes here with definite top-three claims. BERYLUNE (4) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing seventh at Kawasaki over 1400m. Placed to advantage so expect a bold run.
