Speed should be right on over the 1000m journey. Very interesting race with unbeaten WHAT YOU NEED (7) resuming off a long spell. He's a horse with plenty of issues, but also plenty of talent, beating a strong field in the Sunlight Classic on this day last year. The market will tell the tale with him. NAJEM SUHAIL (4) was disappointing in the Oakleigh Plate last start but was in good form prior and has a strong record at this track and trip. Should be right there on speed and hard to get past. SANS DOUTE (9) has won her past three all down the straight. Steps out of benchmark grade here but did beat a subsequent winner and handy type last time. KATSU (6) certainly isn't to be discounted. This trip suits. SUGGESTED PLAY: What You Need on top, if there's market support.
