Slick tempo with County Kilkenny to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. Most of these are realistic winning chances. MALABAR (9) has been beaten under a length at his last three runs, the latest when a closing fourth in a busy finish over 1600m at Warwick Farm. Placed 2/3 at today's journey so the step up in trip has come at the perfect time. COUNTY KILKENNY (4) comes here off a five-week let-up. A model of consistency of late, including a narrow last-start win over 1800m on the Kensington track. A recent trial should have him up to the mark following the short break. UNLIMITED (2) was in the money two back at Randwick them pulled up with a respiratory issue last time in a forget run. Serious contender dropping back to midweek grade. GREEN BELT (6) has been just fair in two runs this prep over shorter trips. On trial at the distance but is bred to handle it. LINE OF FIRE (3) recorded a game win last time out at Wyong and should cope with the extra journey. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Malabar in a race where six of the seven have legitimate claims.
