Plenty of runners but the field lacks a pacemaker so a dawdling affair is on the cards. GAMBARIKI (3) did a great job to score over this course and distance last start to maintain her good form of late. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot repeat the dose. CRY ME A RIVER (10) has been out of the placings at her last couple of outings, the latest when she couldn't come after settling back and over 2000m at Sapporo. Has struggled on the JRA circuit recently but is better placed here. AGE RUNNER (1) turned in a modest performance when third last time out over 1400m at this track after being in contention on the turn. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. MACHIUMA FLORA (5) was safely held when ninth last time out after a win at this track at the previous outing. Expect a better run this time.
