Danceenuff and Hi Poppy possess good early speed and will battle for early honours. Useful mare DANCEENUFF (1) returned from a ten-month spell with a respectable fourth last start over 1100m in a Randwick Highway. Drawn to enjoy the perfect run so back in this company she looks ideally placed to score. VERY SHAMUS (4) caught the eye when she came from near the tail to get up for second last time out over this distance at Wagga. Very effective 1000m sprinter who will be storming home again. TRIFECTA RUBY (3) resumes. Opened last prep with a solid win in maiden grade over today's journey at Wagga. Sure to give a good account. CLEAREDHOT (7) is back from an 18-week break. Needs it further but at the weights could sneak into the frame. Veteran mare HI POPPY (8) did little at Wagga last time out but has placed 3/4 here at this trip so don't rule her out.
