Genuine pace with Jamcra taking up the running ahead of Lord Of Darkness. HOSTESS SUSIE (4) has to come back in trip but there was a lot to like about her 1L defeat at Strathalbyn 17 days ago. She finds easier and draws a soft barrier. CHARLESFORT (1) went well at Kingscote and then was expected to win here over this distance and things didn't work out from a wide gate. Has the rail today and can use it. Has a small claim and is a player. JAMCRA (5) threatened twice and then went across to Streaky Bay and was plain when expected to win. He will be much sharper back here and the 3kg claim brings him right into it. LORD OF DARKNESS (6) was slow off at The Bridge and best to go on the 1K defeat here prior in the Charlesfort race. Has a 2kg claim and can take up a forward position. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Hostess Susie.
