Solid tempo anticipated with Jagerschnitzel leading the way. AMANOAH (4) is third-up for the new stable and has a key jockey change today. Gripped on late when a tough on-pace third over 1400m at Gundagai. Will push forward and prove hard to hold out in a competitive contest. DARN DEADLY (6) failed to bounce off his solid first-up fourth, when up in grade for a plugging eighth over 1400m at Kembla Grange. Blinkers go on and will slide across from the sticky draw. Expected to go close. JAGERSCHNITZEL (2) consistent gelding who doesn't have to improve much to win this. Nailed late with the 59kg when a narrow second over 1300m at Scone. Nose roll goes on and finds a much easier contest. Respect. JAMACRI (5) resumed from a lengthy break with a slashing second over 1200m at Quirindi in fast time. Clearly come back well and looks set for a good campaign. SUGGESTED PLAY: Amanoah each way.
