Aegipan is the likely leader at a keen tempo. Competitive. Sydney-trained ITSZARBABY (6) did a good job from rearward, beaten less than 2L at Orange first-up. Comes back in grade and is still well shy of her best. Has an inside gate today and is proven second-up. This is winnable for her with the extra fitness. MAYBE MAUREEN (9) resumed much improved with a 1L defeat at Nowra. Looks to have turned the corner, and Heywood is a positive jockey engagement. Rates to be right in it. JACOB JOE (7) raced in a 58 at Orange first up and just missed. He gives away starts but keeps the in-form Boudvillain and will present fitter. Is a chance to go one better. WITCH OF NOVEMBER (4) resumes in easier with a handy 3kg claim. She's in the mix if presented forward. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Itszarbaby.
