Moderate tempo with Spring Come leading the way and a few others keeping in touch. HO O BAROLO (12) is returning from a spell of ten weeks. Finished 13th at Fukushima over 1800m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer T Tsunoda. Well-placed and sure to feature. SHABAZI (1) is a five-start maiden who returned last time and finished eighth at Sapporo over 2000m. Can come on from that run and looks a serious contender. BRILLO DORADO (2) has been out of the frame at his last couple of runs, last time finishing 11th over 2000m. Has struggled on the JRA circuit recently but is better placed here. SHINZEN WAKAMIYA (4) is yet to break through in eight runs but has been thereabouts. Placed two back then was fifth over 1500m at this track last time. Chance on best figures and worth including.
