Strong early pace from Cepheid Loop, Silver Mac and Kofuseigetsu, with Will Altar and Whetstone on their heels. WILL ALTAR (6) went forward last start over 1200m at this track and held on well for third. Well placed and rates a top chance. KOFUSEIGETSU (8) has recently been thereabouts without winning, the latest effort a third over 1100m at this track. Yamato Ishikawa has been in the money at the last three rides. Best form puts him right in this. CEPHEID LOOP (11) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 1200m at this track after being prominent at the turn. Nicely placed to find winning ways. WHETSTONE (7) finished third last time over 1100m at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again.
