SOMEDAY MAYBE (2) showed good pace in her last start against male company, tried hard but found one too goodon the day. She is back racing against her own sex and should prove hard to peg back. EMPRESSOFNORMANDY (1) finished third of 10 last time over 1200m at Vaal to make it four placings from nine career runs. Has recorded three placings from four tries at this distance and rates as one of the leading chances. AUTUMN VAR (5) is an unraced daughter of Var from the Tyrone Zackey stable with Richard Fourie in the saddle. If not too green, she should start her career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her chances. LADY GREENSLEEVES (3) has six placings from 12 outings this prep, including a last start third of 10 at Vaal when well fancied. Should be finishing in the money.
