De Louviere, Sacred Ingot and Kindamagic can settle forward in a race lacking a designated leader. SIMPLY NUTBUSH (3) needed the first up run off a long break and then was back to his best, winning his Maiden here over 1400m. He's raced well in town over a mile and the step-up suits. With the extra fitness, he's capable of taking the next step. Wary of TWISTED LOVE (6), who resumes for Ciaron Maher. Has been racing over further but has won fresh and is suited in this grade. The race-day betting will be key. Ditto with DE LOUVIERE (1), who resumes and has trialled twice at Randwick. His middle-distance form reads well, and kicking off over 1600m shouldn't be a bother. KINDAMAGIC (9) peaks off a narrow defeat in Maidens at Kembla Grange over 1500. That stacks up, and she sits at the bottom of the handicap. She can use the inside barrier to her advantage and should be right in it. MISS DEFY (5) peaks with winning rider Heywood reunited, and she is in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sticking with Simply Nutbush.
