Tricky one to map with a large contingent of first starters but expect plenty of early pressure. LEGEND OF ARTHUR (4) produced an encouraging debut effort over 1000m on the Standside course last start when finishing third. He was slowly into stride but stayed on well at the finish. He would have gained from the experience and should like the rise to 1450m. With the natural improvement that is expected, he should prove hard to beat. PIBE DE ORO (6) stayed on well when finishing second over 1200m on this course last time. The manner in which he finishes off his races suggests that he will enjoy the rise to 1450m. He is having his peak run today and rates well as a leading chance. ONE AND ALL (5) is a two-year-old colt from the Stuart Pettigrew stable on debut today. Respect any positive market lead. CLAYMORE (2) two-year-old gelding from the Roy Magner yard on debut today. Watch for any positive market moves.
