Always plenty of early pressure in sprint races such as this with a large contingent of first starters. WILD AT WAR (9) ran a good race in his last start over this course and distance. He raced from just off the pace, moved up but was outrun late. He is a progressive type and Gavin Lerena may be able to get the best out of him when it matters most. GORGEOUS KLEIN (4) has had just the two starts and placed in both. He is having his first run for the Tony Peter stable. If settled into his new surroundings, he should prove hard to beat. BELIEVE IN FATE (1) is an unraced son of Master Of My Fate from the Joe Soma stable with Piere Strydom in the saddle. If not too green, he should start his career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to his chances. LIGHTINTHESTORM (5) is a two-year-old colt from the Stuart Pettigrew stable stepping out on debut today. Has each-way claims.
