From a wide alley Meisho Kyrgyz should slide across to eye-ball Sirius on the inside in a keen early tussle. FENDER (8) has a moderate winning strike-rate but impressed when returning from a break last time at this track, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1200m after being in the firing line on the bend. Looks well placed so expect another big run this time. TAMAMO ALTAIR (7) showed pace to the turn but tired and finished midfield last start over 1000m at Sapporo Dirt. Best form comes at this trip so he deserves another chance. STORM VANGUARD (11) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Fitter so expect a better run this time. MEISHO KYRGYZ (12) last appeared when a respectable sixth over 1000m at Kokura Dirt on 30 June. Lightly raced colt with more to offer.
