Small field but Sea Serpent, Smile We and Suleyman can ensure a genuine tempo. SEA SERPENT (5) has strung together a couple of wins at this track, the latest on August 20 over 1400m when he scored by 3 lengths. Winning rider Taito Mori retains the mount. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to score again. Multiple Grade 3 placegetter SULEYMAN (4) is back at the races for the first time since July 7. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. T O STEALTH (1) is back from a break of three months. Raced below par at his only appearance last prep when 14th over 1400m at Kyoto Dirt. Strong record with Yuga Kawada aboard, including three wins. Should be involved in the finish. AIGLE NOIR (6) was last at the races when he finished 12th over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt on June 1. Worth plenty of thought.
