A strong tempo assured with Hiroshikun and Meiner Astoria leading the charge. WURAYAH (4) is a talented type yet to taste defeat after two runs this campaign, the latest over 1600m at Morioka Dirt. Far too good last start and expected to be in the finish again. TOSEN MASSIMO (7) kicked off this campaign with a win two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when third over 1600m at Morioka Dirt. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including a win and two minor placings. Meets a stronger field but he is up to the task. HIROSHIKUN (5) finished 13th over 2000m at Morioka Dirt at his most recent appearance on July 15. Can return with a bold run. Z CENTRAL (6) got the prize two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when ninth over 1600m. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
