Has a solid record here over this trip. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Best form puts him right in this. HAKUSAN ORIHIME (9) went fast early over 1500m at Funabashi last time and went on to score by 3 lengths. Can cross from an awkward gate. Meeting a deeper field this time but she is good enough to play a major role. ROAR VENT FLARE (5) finished fourth, beaten 6 lengths, last time out over 1500m at this track. Has a very good record here including four wins from seven starts. Capable of running a big race. SUN DUBUQUE (1) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a spell then again missed the frame last start over 900m at Kawasaki, beaten 9 lengths into ninth. No surprise to see him in the frame.
